What if the farm down the road was your grocery store?

That’s why we started Farm Fed.

Our story

It began with a simple question: why does something grown just a few miles down the road cost more at the grocery store than it does on the farm?

For generations, families like ours have depended on the land — not just for food, but for connection, purpose, and community. Yet over time, that connection has been lost.

Farmers pour their hearts into their crops and livestock, only to see their hard-earned work undervalued through layers of middlemen, marketing, and markups. Meanwhile, everyday families pay premium prices for food that has been shipped, stored, and handled again and again before it ever reaches their table.

We started Farm Fed to fix that.

Our purpose

Our mission is to bridge the gap between farmers and families — to bring fresh food from farms close to home first, and from trusted farms across the country for what can’t be grown here, directly to your doorstep without the unnecessary costs and confusion of the traditional food system.

Grocery stores add layers of overhead — rent, staffing, logistics, and retail markups — that drive prices up for families and profits down for farmers, and farmers’ markets cost farmers whole days away from the farm. By connecting buyers and producers directly, we replace those layers with one: us, working for both sides. The result:

  • Farmers earn fair, honest pay for their labor and resources.
  • Families get fresher food, closer to the source, at fair prices.
  • Communities grow stronger through genuine, transparent relationships.

Our vision

Farm Fed isn’t just a marketplace — it’s a movement towards sustainability, fairness, and freedom from corporate control over what we eat. We envision a world where farmers can thrive doing what they love, and families can afford to eat well without questioning where their food comes from.

Every order supports a network of hard-working people who grow, raise, and harvest with integrity.

Every delivery helps strengthen rural economies.

Every meal shared is a small step toward independence from the industrial food system.

Our promise

We promise more than convenience — a commitment to integrity, transparency, and shared prosperity.

We work side by side with farmers
who care deeply about the land and the people they feed. We know every farm that sells here, and we’re open about where your food comes from and how it gets to you. When people know their farmer, they can trust their food.
We keep costs as low as they can go
without cutting corners on quality — less handling, packaging, and retail expense, so more of every dollar goes back to the people who grow and harvest it.
We stay open and accessible
No hidden fees: every cost is shown before you pay, and farmers set their own prices. No corporate influence steering our mission.
