🍞 Fresh-Baked Sourdough Reminder: Because our sourdough is naturally leavened and slow-fermented, bread orders close Wednesdays at 11:00 PM Central Time for Saturday deliveries. This allows us the time needed to handcraft each loaf and bake it fresh for delivery. This is the loaf that started all the flour-covered chaos around here. Our Classic Organic Sourdough is naturally fermented, handcrafted in small batches, and baked into the soft, sandwich-style loaf Three Dog Acre has become known for. With a tender crumb, a beautifully golden crust, and just the right touch of tang, it’s the kind of bread that mysteriously disappears from the counter before the day’s over. Our favorite ways to enjoy it: * Toasted warm with a generous smear of butter. * Piled high with your favorite sandwich fixings. * Slathered with one of our handcrafted Three Dog Acre jams. * Slowing down for a minute, gathering around the table, and remembering that the best memories usually start with good bread. Every loaf is mixed, shaped, and baked by hand right here on our little Tennessee acreage using organic flour, filtered water, sea salt, and the magic of slow fermentation. Large artisan loaf • Approximately 2 lbs • Naturally fermented sourdough Best enjoyed within 3–4 days at room temperature. Freeze for up to 3 months. Three Dog Acre Tip: Don’t let a single slice go to waste! Slice your loaf, tuck a little parchment paper between the slices, and freeze it in a zip-top freezer bag with as much air removed as possible. Whenever the craving strikes, grab a frozen slice and toast it straight from the freezer. Warm, crispy, and just like fresh-baked, no thawing required.
